Alpha One-Adaptive Driving Education Fundraiser

Alpha One-Adaptive Driving Education Fundraiser

Alpha One is launching our first fundraising initiative to enhance our Adaptive Driving Education program and we are looking for your help.

This program is one of our oldest, and has been offering driver evaluation, assistive driving technology consultation and driver education and training since the early ‘80s. The ADE Program has helped hundreds of Maine consumers to become licensed drivers and enjoy the freedom of mobility

Our goal is to lower the overall cost of delivering this valuable service to Maine people who want to get back on the road again, by soliciting support from individuals and businesses who share our desire to help others remain independent.

Donations from foundations and individuals will provide for the purchase and adaptation of a new van and the operation of the program over the next five years.

The Big Decision: Static or Dynamic?

When you are getting ready to build a new site or redesign your current one there are a lot of decisions that you will need to make – what it will look like, what content you are providing, how you will market the site, and who will be updating the site, to name a few! One of the most important decisions is who is going to be developing the site. Every development team has their own methods and ways of creating a solution for your web needs. Some teams build static websites and others go with dynamic sites. Both sites look the same to you visitors, but make a huge difference in how content is edited. So what is that difference? Let me explain.

Newry, Maine (April 18, 2011)—On Sunday, April 24, Sunday River Ski Resort invites skiers and riders, as well as their friends and family, to celebrate the Easter holiday resort-style, starting with a sunrise service at 7 a.m. followed by a children’s Easter Egg Hunt starting at 9 a.m.
