Day of Giving

Calling All Volunteers!

Please join us on Friday, June 6th for the Day of Giving!

OXFORD HILLS: The Day of Giving is a day set aside when we welcome members of the community, local business, friends and supporters to The Progress Center to volunteer side by side with staff and individuals supported at the Center. While at The Progress Center, be sure to meet Jennifer Putnam, our new Executive Director.

This year, one of the projects we'll be doing is maintenance on the completed Matthew Record Memorial Park and Trail, a Day of Giving project completed with help of our wonderful volunteers. We're also looking at some painting projects and we'll be planting shrubs and trees. The project list is growing so there will be something for everyone!  It's not all work and no play as there are smiles and laughter everywhere!

Lunch, did I mention lunch? As a volunteer you'll also receive lunch.  This year we'll be doing burgers and hotdogs on the grill. Ask anyone who's volunteered in the past about the lunches we serve and watch a smile come to their face. All I can say is, delicious!
