Business of the Year:  Hannaford Bros., was nominated for their significant support to local schools, business', and community service organizations over the years.
 
Employee of the Year:  Everett Parlin, nominated by Gene Benner. Mr. Benner writes "Everett Parlin has been the service manager at Bessey Motor Sales for 33 years." Mr. Benner credits Everett in the successful growth of the service department, and for maintaining their 5 star ranking for over 25 years. Mr. Benner couldn't think of a better way for Everett to begin his spring retirement.
 
Citizen of the Year:  Sawin Millett, long time legislator, is being awarded for his selfless service to the Oxford Hills Community and the State of Maine for 40 years. He plans to continue his service, to the community and the state, as the new commissioner of the Department of Administration and Financial Services.
 
Rising Star:  Peter Bolduc, nominated for being a true entrepreneur who generates jobs and provides an attraction for people to come to the Mechanic Falls area. Sue Goulet writes "He purchased that old delapitated farm in Mechanic Falls and in less then 2 years, turned it into a real destination."
